34" fire boat

Post  HS94 on Wed Sep 12, 2012 3:08 am

I have one of there fire boats the superstructur is removable in two pieces when I built heir I put two exta keels in" and went twin screw, at the time we did not have batteries like we do now and so it was very heavey inthe water it wa also a heavey boat to start with so there was very little planning.Ill sort out some pictures ,it was built nearley 28 years ago or there about, so it looks like boats I rember from the 60s, as there was very little actual information avalable about the boats.

Some pictures of my old boat bit dusty but not run for 20 plus years, it was built to be twin scre and about 28 years ago it was built with the knolegde I had in the late 60s so lead acid or D cells weighed a ton.
