First time I've ever seen a working model of an Albatross. I used to own Hull No. 135 and used t to make this 1/6th scale model for a customer.

I made the engine cover clear to show the Ford 10 engine and all the detail.

Also made a silver trophy for last year's Albatross race at Oulton Broad.

Lovely model, vintagent. Probably nearer to scale than mine, I lengthened mine to allow for the prop to be farther from the transom only by 2 inches but I wanted to get the engine in the engine bay and not protrude  into the cockpit and not have a to steep an angle for the shaft. Its now running with a Merco 61 as the Enya 4 stroke was not running well at all.
